Afternoon with Amal from Afar

  • West Toledo Library 1320 West Sylvania Avenue Toledo, OH, 43612 United States (map)

Little Amal is the 12 foot puppet of a 10 year old Syrian refugee child who has traveled the world from 2021 to 2023. She has become a global symbol of human rights, especially those of refugees. In recognition of Amal's 6,000 mile journey, and of refugee children around the world, join us for an afternoon of activities for all ages including crafts, resource and information tables, live music, light refreshments, and more! All are invited to attend this free event.
